Assistant Manager – Production Planning & Control

Job Purpose:

To plan, monitor, and control production activities by aligning schedules with demand forecasts, ensuring material availability, optimizing inventory, and coordinating dispatches. The role ensures smooth production flow, compliance with documentation, and accurate reporting through SAP/ERP systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and customer orders.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability
• Monitor daily/weekly production targets and adjust plans to meet delivery commitments.
• Ensure timely Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and maintain optimum stock levels.
• Track raw material, WIP, and FG inventory using SAP/ERP systems.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO/ROP models to minimize excess stock and avoid shortages.
• Align production plans with dispatch schedules for domestic and export markets.
