Assistant Manager - Equities (Trade & Position Management)

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager – Equities (Trade & Position Management).

Broker Matching team is responsible for matching inward broker confirmations with HSBC bookings.

The Opportunity:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for performing the intra‑day checks – ensuring that all broker matching queues for the day are completed, all high‑value and aged items are properly escalated and communicated with relevant teams.

In this role, you will:

Impact on the Business

• Work with the settlements team, focusing on domestic matching, Euroclear management and instructing part business.
• Ensure that settlement occurs in a timely and accurate fashion, and that risk & control framework and escalation procedures are adhered to.
