HSBC is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager in the Asset Services (AS) team. The role involves end-to-end processing of Corporate Action events and supporting the team’s operational excellence.
The Opportunity
- Acquire a broad understanding of all Corporate Action processes and market specifications for assigned markets and allocate work daily to Processing Executives.
- Perform Quality Control tasks and handle complex cases, escalations and process‑related queries requiring resolution.
- Assist in planning capacities daily and intra‑day based on projections and volume analysis, reallocating resources within the team.
- Establish methods and checkpoints to scrutinize exceptions/errors, prevent operational losses and mitigate potential fraudulent situations through strong internal audit and staff feedback mechanisms.
