Assistant Maintenance Manager
Location: St. Andrews, NB
Hours: 40 hours per week (Regular shift)
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities, assign and prioritize work orders based on production needs and ensure timely completion of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Provide hands‑on technical support for troubleshooting critical equipment failures.
- Offer day‑to‑day supervision, coaching, and support to maintenance technicians; monitor and train team members on safe work practices and proper maintenance techniques; support performance evaluations and skill development planning.
- Monitor key process equipment (grinder, mixing and batching, conditioning and extrusion, drying and cooling, conveying and packaging systems); identify root causes of equipment failures, implement corrective actions, reduce downtime, increase MTBF and reduce MTTR.
