Reporting to General Manager, the Assistant General Manager oversees the daily Aramark foodservice at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus. The role includes management of services under contract with the Client, collaboration with clients, customers, and employees, and providing a vision to grow the business. Culinary experiences and well‑maintained environments are fundamental to student success. Aramark chefs and dietitians review the latest insights and food trends to bring innovative and nutritious options to students.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain procedures for purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation, and food service
- Coordinate and supervise staff in food production, merchandising, quality and cost control, labor, scheduling, staffing, and training
