What you will be doing…

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will provide support in overseeing the day-to‑day operations including safe and efficient maintenance of the buildings, HVAC equipment, shop equipment, vehicles and grounds of Akerley Campus, and all associated sites including the 100‑bed housing complex. Responsibilities include managing building operations, maintaining equipment and campus grounds, and ensuring health, safety, cleanliness, appearance, and physical security standards are met in alignment with public post‑secondary institutional requirements.

You will also:

• Manage and supervise unionized custodial staff and their work assignments during the day‑to‑day and planned work activities.
• Provide leadership and oversight within the entire Facilities’ team in the absence of the Facilities Manager.
