Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the servicing and maintaining of the machines through corrective and preventive maintenance are carried out effectively and as per plan
- Lead a team of technicians to troubleshoot, analyze issues, resolve equipment breakdown safely and identify the root cause to prevent recurrence
- Ensuring the in-stock parts quantity are sufficient and kept to ideal levels by monitoring spare parts consumption and replenishing stocks when low by raising purchase requisitions
- Sustaining and improving safety in the work area by ensuring the workplace and practices complies with safety requirements, while identifying and implementing safety improvements
- Identify, propose, implement, and/or support improvement projects such as 5S, installation of new machines, machines shifting, overhauling or upgrading for improved machine performance / ease of maintenance
