Assistant Editor - Journals Foods and Children

Responsibilities

Start as an Editorial Trainee working in close collaboration with Managing Editors, learning the end‑to‑end process of handling papers from submission to publication. After successfully completing the traineeship you will be appointed Assistant Editor. You will execute editorial work for journals in your domain of expertise, organize the review process for manuscripts, oversee editorial decisions, and manage communication between all parties involved in the publication process.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Neurology Science, Biology Science, Human Medicine or Public Health.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent English and Spanish – written and spoken.
• Ability to multi‑task and strong attention to detail.
• Experience with scholarly publishing is beneficial.
