Assistant Director, Tax Structuring

Job Summary

HarbourVest is seeking a Singapore-based Assistant Director to serve as a key contributor to our global Tax Structuring team. This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of 4 days per week in the office with an additional 5 days available per quarter for remote work, pursuant to the firm’s remote work policy.

Responsibilities

• Transactional Support
  • Assist and work with the Singapore-based Senior Vice President of Tax Structuring on transactions for HarbourVest funds and accounts.
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities through participation in weekly reviews of investment opportunities presented by the APAC investment teams.
  • Perform initial tax due diligence and supervise collaboration with external legal and tax advisers.
