Assistant Director (Infrastructure Readiness)

What the role is:

You are responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end upkeep and operational readiness of buildings and infrastructure (BI), including the planning and execution of BI and critical BI systems across a cluster of the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) estates and operational facilities.

What you will be working on:

• Direct and oversee the end-to-end process for BI maintenance, operational readiness, and sustenance of critical BI systems and facilities
• Lead the planning and execution of critical BI system renewal, replacement, and technology refresh programmes
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise operational disruptions
• Establish contingency and recovery plans for critical BI systems
