Overview
The primary role of the Team Lead is to perform duties as required by a department head and/or Supervisor, to coordinate assembly and fabrication of products for a small group of employees. The Lead designation is that of a “working lead”, where the majority of the employee’s time is hands on as a functioning team member.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure crew is arriving on time, ready and fit for duty at the start of each shift.Host a morning meeting with crew at start of shift to delegate work for the day.Review any job-related issues or safety concerns.Ensure workers have proper material and tools to complete daily tasks.Trains new workers on methods and procedures specific to the area of expertise.Familiarize self with and/or request training concerning new equipment.Establish methods with workers to meet work schedule deadlines.Ensure workers are wearing proper PPE and worki...
