Role Descriptions: AS400
Key Responsibilities
•Monitor and Manage daily EOD batch jobs in AS400 environment.
• Ensure all scheduled jobs complete successfully with in SLA.
• Identify and troubleshoot job failures.
•Restart failed jobs and validate outputs.
•Monitor system performance during EOD cycles.
•Handle production support tickets (P1/P2/P3).
•Coordinate with teams in case of issues or delays.
•Prepare daily status reports.
Required skills:
•Basic knowledge of AS400 (IBM i)
•Understanding of batch jobs and job scheduling.
•Familiarity with commands like WRKACTJOB, DSPMSG QSYSOPR, DSPSYSSTS.
•Basic troubleshooting skills.
•Knowledge of ticketing tools.
Good to have:
•Experience in production support
•Knowledge of EOD/BOD Processes
•Exposure to banking or financial domain.
