Artificial Intelligence Engineer / Software Engineer

Position Overview

The client is a mental healthcare company, and we're building AI directly into how care gets delivered — think a clinical scribe for therapists, AI-assisted chat, and other tools that make clinicians' jobs easier. They’re hiring staff-level engineers to help lead that build.

They’re looking for engineers who've genuinely changed how they work over the last year or two — people who direct an AI agent through real, complex work and know exactly when to trust it and when to step in.

They are tool-agnostic and welcome experience with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, or other AI-assisted development tools, including proprietary solutions you may have built yourself. What matters most is that you have hands‑on experience and a well‑tested, practical perspective on how to use these tools effectively.
