Job Description AECOM is seeking an Architect AIBC or an Intern Architect AIBC to be based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. This is a newly created position.
Responsibilities
Strong, hands‑on technical knowledge
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Document review and inter-disciplinary coordination
Develop or assist in the development of studies, programs, concepts, preliminary and final plans and specifications for projects of varying type and scale
Prepare, review and approve drawings, specifications and other documentation as required (range from design presentations documents to technical documents for building permit, tender and construction and technical reports)
Ensure designs comply with client program of requirements, local codes, standards and applicable regulations
Ensure designs are developed in accordance with AECOM processes, design and quality standards
