WSP has an exciting opportunity for an Archaeology Field Director to join our Heritage team in British Columbia. As an Archaeology Field Director, you will work closely with the Heritage team to lead and manage projects throughout the province. The successful candidate will have or be close to obtaining their Field Director qualification in the Interior Plateau Culture Area and will be based in one of the following BC offices: Kelowna, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Kamloops or Rossland.
Your Impact
- Lead archaeological field programs, which may include archaeological survey and testing, excavation, or monitoring.
- Work with the project team to achieve the technical requirements and expectations of clients, Indigenous groups, and regulatory agencies.
- Work collaboratively and respectfully with Indigenous communities and their members during all aspects of the project lifecycle.
