The Role
Under the direction and guidance of a Journeyman Roofer, over the course of four years, our Apprentices learn through a combination of on-the-job training and mentoring, as well as short 6 week in-class sessions at a registered trade school. Lynnwood invests in our employees by building skills and experiences in increasingly complex and diverse roofing tasks and assignments. In the work terms with Lynnwood, employees are paid competitively as apprentices in accordance with the Alberta Roofer Trade Regulation. While attending school, employees are eligible for federal Employment Insurance. At the completion of the apprenticeship program, employees are eligible for government grants.
