Job Overview
We’re looking for a curious, rigorous, problem-hungry platform engineer to help scale Ashby’s infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Optimize our homegrown recruiting DSL-to-SQL compiler and create developer tools
- Create automated guardrails for security and privacy of customer data
- Help developers ship features fast through canary deploys, gradual rollouts, and feature flags while keeping complexity manageable
- Define SLOs and implement corresponding SLIs with the business and engineering team
- Ensure all external service communication supports retries and circuit breakers
- Implement infrastructure to support an event‑driven architecture and data warehouse
