We are looking for an experienced Databricks Serverless Migration Architect to lead the transformation of our data platform from Classic cluster-based compute to Databricks Serverless compute . This is a high-impact role focused on modernizing data pipelines, improving performance, and driving significant cloud cost optimization .
What You’ll Do
- Lead migration of Databricks workloads (ETL, BI, streaming) from Classic clusters to Serverless
- Design and implement Serverless-first lakehouse architecture
- Refactor notebooks, jobs, and pipelines to remove cluster dependencies
- Optimize Spark workloads for performance and DBU cost reduction
- Implement Unity Catalog, governance, and security best practices
- Define migration strategy, roadmap, and execution approach
