Application Engineer APAC (SEA, FE & Oceania) Requirements / Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or similar (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years in a technical customer (Application Engineer, Sales Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar) in automation, pneumatics, robotics, or industrial equipment.
- Preferable if having a good understanding of:
- Vacuum technology and/or pneumatics (pumps, ejectors, suction cups, flow, pressure, leakage)
- Automation and robotics (EOAT design, robot payload and cycle-time, safety basics)
- Industrial environments (OEMs, integrators, end users).
- Basic calculation/simulation for sizing and verification.
- Good level of customer communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics in a clear, businessoriented way.
