Application Development Analyst

Performs active role in the development, modification and maintenance of in-house applications or specialized utility programs. Supports other activities assigned under Application Development and Maintenance Division.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops or enhances programs based on business requirements. Producing detailed technical specifications and writing program codes.
• Performs unit testing to ensure correctness of the program codes, fixing (‘debugging’) errors where they occur, rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results prior endorsement for QA and/or UA testing.
• Provides technical support on application development related requirements and queries.
