About this role
We are seeking a Lighting and Controls Specialist to join our Technology Division based in our Burnaby head office.
In this role, you will serve as the Lighting and Controls expert, supporting project teams with design, product selection, cost optimization, and technical guidance. You will work closely with consultants, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative, energy‑efficient and cost‑effective lighting solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate lighting and lighting controls design, including photometric calculations and simulations
- Create lighting and lighting controls layouts for design‑build and value engineering opportunities
- Review project drawings, specifications and bill of materials to ensure all lighting systems are accurately captured in estimates and project scopes
