Responsibilities
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintaining relationships with vendors
- Paying vendor invoices with checks, credit cards and bank transfers
- Comparing purchase orders with invoices to confirm that discounts and other incentives have been applied correctly
- Analyzing accounts payable processes to find ways to increase efficiency
- Investigating invoicing discrepancies
- Managing payment schedules according to vendor agreements
