Lead a functional work team within Accounts Payable (AP) focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead, motivate and develop the Accounts Payable Team
- People manager, including staffing & selection, integration, facilitating technical/functional training, measuring individual and team performance, providing feedback, counselling and coaching as needed
- Oversee a portion of the month end close process for the AP area.
Basic Qualifications (mandatory)
- University degree in Finance or equivalent gained thru working experience
- At least 7 years of experience in Accounts Receivable/Accounting/Payable and at least 2 years in a Leadership position.
