Atomic Vancouver, a division of Blue Ant Studios, is looking for an Assistant Editor with animation experience. The ideal candidate will cut storyboard animatics, maintain pacing, and ensure the production database is current. You will also prepare edits for client approval and manage dailies sessions to help streamline the editing workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut storyboard animatics to maintain pacing and style
• Use temporary SFX and music for the final product feel
• Update the Shotgrid database with current cuts
• Prepare sequence edits for client approvals as needed
• Organize and run daily sessions for production workflow
Requirements:
• Experience in Film, VFX, or Animation editorial roles
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and video formats
• Knowledge of file encoding and video codecs
