Job Overview

Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) in Kentville, Nova Scotia, is seeking a full‑time Anesthesiologist with Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification to join a collegial and supportive team of nine other full‑time anesthesiologists. VRH is a 137‑bed regional hospital that serves as a major surgical referral centre for over 200,000 patients in the Western Health Zone. The group provides anesthetic services for more than 6,000 operating room cases a year and supports an obstetrical unit with approximately 750 deliveries annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coordination of community‑based, secondary and tertiary level health care.
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.
