Anesthesia Assistant

Overview

At Covenant Health's Grey Nuns Community Hospital, we seek an experienced Anesthesia Assistant (RN or RT, advanced certification) to support the Anesthesia Care Team. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, anesthesia care planning, medication administration, patient monitoring, and clinical response during surgical procedures, under direct supervision of an anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthetics and medications.
• Manage patient monitoring during procedures.
• Respond to clinical situations in real time.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program or a baccalaureate‑prepared RN.
• Completion of an accredited post‑graduate Anesthesia Assistant Program.
