Location: Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth and Lower Sackville)

Salary: $68,849 to $74,180

Responsibilities

• Collect and collate data and information from open and closed sources to support analyst initiatives.
• Use expert‑level searching, collection, and collation techniques appropriate to each data source and compile data using appropriate methods.
• Assist analysts in planning data collection activities, carry out verification checks, and advise and train others in data collection practices.
• Exercise judgement to determine relevance of collected information, seeking clarification when necessary.
• Conduct open‑source research to support analysts’ and clients’ needs, following RCMP policy.
• Follow established procedures, prevent errors, troubleshoot anomalies, anticipate and address procedural or system impacts.
