Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing U.S. personal federal, state and Canadian tax returns.
- Compiling and reviewing file and workpaper documentation.
- Participating in tax planning and analysis of client issues.
- Responding to requests for information from Canada Revenue Agency and the IRS.
- Researching tax queries for clients and colleagues related to Canadian and U.S. personal income tax, and the Canada‑U.S. tax treaty.
- Supervising and providing timely feedback to junior team members.
- Assisting managers with coordinating cross‑border tax compliance services for high‑net‑worth individual clients.
- Contributing to building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practice.
