Responsibilities
- Ensure that operational expenses are recorded and compliant with accounting policies and internal guidelines
- Act as the bridge between operations and finance, translating operational activities into accurate accounting entries
- Monitor and analyze distribution-related costs, including cross-docking, logistics services, service levels, and penalties
- Review and validate customer charges, identifying discrepancies and working with internal teams to resolve incorrect or unjustified costs
- Manage the credit note process, including validation, documentation, approval, and follow-up
- Ensure all supporting documentation for financial transactions is complete, accurate, and properly maintained
- Support the control and tracking of freight and logistics expenses
