Anaesthesia Assistant in Halifax

Reporting to the Manager of Women's Ambulatory and Perioperative Services, you will work closely with anaesthesiologists, providing essential support in the Gynecology/Breast Health areas. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Respiratory Therapy or Nursing, with at least three years of Anaesthesia Assistant experience, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist anaesthesiologists during all anesthesia procedures
• Monitor patients in Gynecology/Breast Health and OR/PACU
• Provide technical support for anesthesia, including intubations
• Educate healthcare professionals on new technologies
• Contribute to emergency and epidural care efforts
