Airworthiness Engineer: Flight Manuals & Certification Lead (Getafe)

Mission

The main mission of the Airworthiness Technical Engineer for Operational Certification is to generate Airplane Flight Manual (AFM), Weight & Balance Manual (WBM), MMEL/MOSEL projects, ETOPS/METOPS/EDTO projects, and Special Military Operations, including defining applicable certification requirements and demonstrating compliance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to production of manuals related to operational certification: AFM, WBM, ETOPS/METOPS/EDTO projects, Special Military Operations for Airbus Defence & Space products (e.g., A330 MRTT, C‑295, Euroderrone) and future projects.
• Coordinate and lead activities before Airworthiness Authorities and customers, even when delegated to other Airbus DS organisations.
• Support timely operational certification approval by identifying technical issues, risk management plans, regulation and interpretation issues.
