Airworthiness Engineer (Aircraft Flight Manual) (Getafe)

Overview

In this role, the Airworthiness Technical Engineer for Operational Certification is responsible for generating the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM), Weight & Balance Manual (WBM), MMEL/MOSEL projects, ETOPS/METOPS/EDTO projects, and Special Military Operations. The engineer defines applicable certification requirements and demonstrates compliance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the production of manuals related to air system operational certification (AFM, WBM, ETOPS/METOPS/EDTO projects, Special Military Operations) for Airbus Defence & Space products (A330 MRTT, C‑295, Eurodrone, etc.) and future projects.
• Coordinate and lead activities before Airworthiness Authorities and Customers, including when delegated to other Airbus DS organizations.
• Support timely achievement of operational certification approval by identifying technical issues, risk‑management plans, regulation and interpretation issues.
