Aircraft Concept Evaluation Engineer – Derby / Hybrid – 3 days on site per week – Full time

Overview

Analytics officer responsible for evaluating whole aircraft concepts and ensuring competitiveness of new engine designs. Works with stakeholders across the Civil Aerospace Business to integrate powerplant solutions and provide technical studies on performance, fuel burn, economics, and customer thrust usage.

Responsibilities

• Assess overall performance of whole aircraft concepts and integrate powerplant solutions to meet aircraft requirements.
• Work with engine project teams, sales and marketing, systems engineering, environmental specialists and sub‑systems design to evaluate engine design at aircraft level.
• Synthesise and integrate multidisciplinary information regarding aircraft design, performance and operation; collaborate in the evolution of engine design throughout development phases.
