Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Function Head, the Aircon Technician primarily installs, inspects, maintains, and repairs air conditioners of all Loc&Stor 24/7 facilities. Also performs maintenance tasks when necessary.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs routine preventive maintenance (see PM scope) tasks to ensure that equipment and machines continue to run smoothly.
- Inspects AC parts such as electrical panels, indoor unit, outdoor unit, temperature, and humidity, and performs other maintenance actions, following SOP.
- Inspects and tests equipment to locate damage or worn parts, diagnose malfunctions, and read work orders/service reports to determine/verify required repairs.
- Repairs and rebuilds defective parts in air-conditioning units and related equipment using hand tools and power tools.
