Project Overview

This PhD position investigates how a ship’s design, construction, and operational data can be represented to enable AI‑assisted inference and support maritime industry decision‑making. The work is carried out in close cooperation with Norwegian maritime companies and research partners, grounded in real vessels, data, and engineering challenges.
