AI Developer (Old Toronto)

Overview

Spectrum Health Care is seeking an AI Developer to join our growing Data and AI Team. This is a full-stack AI role where you will work end-to-end transforming complex healthcare data into intelligent, production-ready AI systems used in clinical and operational settings. The role requires a strong healthcare business mindset, familiarity with complex database environments, and expertise in retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to deliver grounded, accurate, and trustworthy insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to build and maintain scalable, HIPAA-compliant data pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks to support healthcare AI use cases
• Optimize databases and queries across relational systems and data warehouses to enable low-latency access for AI applications
