About the job AGV Systems Engineer (Contract)
Responsibilities
- Integrate and manage a fleet of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) for material transportation within the factory.
- Develop or configure fleet management software to dispatch AGVs and monitor their real-time locations.
- Coordinate AGV operations with loading and unloading stations and other fixed equipment.
- Implement reliable communication between AGVs and central control systems using wireless networks, MQTT, or similar protocols.
- Ensure safe and efficient AGV routing, including traffic control and battery charging management.
- Synchronize AGV operations with ASRS systems and production equipment to support just-in-time material delivery.
- Monitor system performance and maintain stable connectivity for continuous AGV operations.
