Ag Equipment Mechanic (Service Technician)

Responsibilities

• Inspection, diagnosis, repair, and service of agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
• Use specialized tools and cutting‑edge technology to diagnose and complete complex repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere agricultural products
• Participate in training to further develop technical skills and abilities

Requirements

• The ability to use diagnostic tools and basic computer functions
• 3+ years of experience performing complex service repairs and maintenance
• Journeyperson Agricultural Technician certification preferred or equivalent (e.g., Heavy Equipment, Automotive)
• Consideration for a third or fourth year apprenticeship
• Knowledge or familiarity with John Deere and competitive products an asset
