Responsibilities
- Compile Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for companies, close corporations, trusts, and other entities
- Prepare financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and legislation
- Process year-end journals and accounting adjustments
- Reconcile general ledger and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare supporting working papers and maintain client files
- Obtain financial information and supporting documents from clients
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 25 years' experience in an accounting firm or similar environment
- Experience compiling Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Experience using CaseWare
