Become a pivotal part of Canadian North as an Aerospace Buyer based in Ottawa. This role emphasizes vendor negotiations, inventory analysis, and purchasing essential Aeronautical products.
We’re looking for a Buyer to manage Aeronautical Products, Commercial Parts, and Corporate Goods. This on-site, six-month temporary role supports 25 northern communities by facilitating timely delivery through vendor relationships and inventory management. You will report to the Assistant Manager, Purchasing, and ensure seamless operations within set policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase Aeronautical Products and Corporate Goods
• Analyze inventory and market surplus items
• Maintain professional vendor relationships
• Expedite back-orders to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare RFQs and manage related paperwork
Requirements:
• Minimum two years post-secondary education
• Four years of purchasing experience required
• Knowledge of PMAC or related courses preferred
