The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) – Regina Area, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Advanced Heart Failure Specialist to join our Cardiology team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for a complex heart failure population and will play a key role in the continued development of provincial cardiac care pathways.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, working alongside interventionalists, electrophysiologists, and cardiac surgeons. Responsibilities include:
Work in a specialized Heart Failure clinic with a focus on GDMT optimization.
Clinical lead for advanced therapy assessments (Transplant/VAD coordination).
Participation in the acute cardiology on-call rotation.
Teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents from the University of Saskatchewan.
