Advanced Care Paramedic - Metro (Edmonton)

As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), you will work as a front‑line healthcare provider in EHS Operations, possibly across the Edmonton area. You may work in a variety of roles such as front‑line ambulance work and may perform several shift patterns. This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies.

Responsibilities

• Assess emergency scenes and patients and transport ill or injured individuals from scenes and between facilities.
• Operate ambulances or other transport modes.
• Provide patient care by administering medications, using advanced life support (ALS) airway adjuncts, and delivering electrical therapy.
• Lead the ALS team in providing clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes.
• Support readiness of vehicles by ensuring ambulances and transport units, including non‑emergent transport (NET) vehicles, are properly stocked, maintained, and equipped in accordance with APH standards.
