Advanced Care Paramedic

Overview

As an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP), you will assess emergency scenes and patients, and may transport ill or injured individuals from emergency scenes and between facilities. This includes operating ambulances or other modes of transportation.

You will provide patient care by administering medications, using advanced life‑support airway adjuncts, and delivering electrical therapy. You may also lead the ALS team in providing clinical care during patient transport or at emergency scenes.

You will support the readiness of vehicles by ensuring ambulances and other transport units are properly stocked, maintained, and equipped in accordance with established standards.

The working environment is demanding and includes exposure to weather, traffic, industrial and agricultural equipment, and hazardous or graphic scenes. You will be required to travel in all weather conditions and to remote locations, including backcountry. The role is physically...
