Administrative Support III
AHS's mission is to provide a patient‑focused, quality health system that is accessible and sustainable for all Albertans. The Administrative Support III works under the supervision of the Supervisor, Registration, Switchboard & Patient Information and is responsible for obtaining and inputting accurate demographic and financial information for patients at various entry points of the health system.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record accurate demographic and financial information on patients by interviewing patients, family members, and/or care providers.
- Apply Positive Patient Identification during the registration/pre‑registration process to ensure accurate record linkage and support safe delivery of patient care.
- Verify patient eligibility for healthcare coverage.
- Review financial agreement forms and ensure they are completed appropriately.
