THE OPPORTUNITY
The Government Communications Department seeks an Administrative Officer who will be responsible for providing efficient and proactive administrative and operational support to the Department. The role ensures smooth daily operations effective coordination across units timely execution of tasks and adherence to university processes and standards.
TASKS & RESPONSBILITIES
- Serve as the first point of contact for general departmental inquiries and communications.
- Manage documentation correspondence digital filing systems and departmental records.
- Liaise with central university departments (e.g. Finance, Procurement, IT, Facilities, HR) to facilitate workflows and resolve administrative matters.
- Monitor and track departmental budget expenditures and support procurement activities.
