Actuarial Analyst, Research & Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and update theoretical rate bases as well as pricing tools and systems for group insurance
• Produce reports and analyses to monitor experience and portfolio profitability, and propose improvement opportunities to increase it
• Support the group insurance pricing team on complex submission or renewal cases
• Participate in market surveys and studies, in collaboration with the Finance team, to position our fees
• Conduct market analysis and monitoring and respond to industry surveys to determine market shares, positioning on various pricing elements, and to identify product development opportunities and potential threats
• Improve and update existing products to maintain their competitiveness and relevance
• Work closely with marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure consistent product implementation and to provide the documentation necessary for sales and contract administration
