About the role
Timely and accurate processing of AR, AP and GL. Timely and accurate month end closing and preparation of various statutory and month end reporting.
Key responsibilities- Handles full scope of AR and AP functions
- Review staff claims and ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage payment runs to vendors and staff
- Perform month end closing including passing GL entries, preparing schedules and performing various reconciliations (AR, AP, intercompany, inventory, bank and sales)
- Assist in preparation of various statutory and management month end reporting including GST return
- Manage vendor creations including reviewing onboarding documents
- Assist in year-end audit
- Participate in quarterly and annual stock take
- Support retail team on finance related operational issues
