A medium sized firm in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with at least 1 to 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, assisting in daily accounting operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
  • Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Support audits and prepare necessary documentation
  • Assist in tax filings and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
