A medium sized firm in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with at least 1 to 2 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, assisting in daily accounting operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
- Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
- Support audits and prepare necessary documentation
- Assist in tax filings and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
