Accounting Technician/Tax preparer

Responsibilities

• Prepare simple personal and corporate tax returns for a variety of clients.
• Review simple tax returns prepared by junior staff.
• Assist with bookkeeping, as required.
• Communicate with CRA and the client to resolve tax inquiries.
• Occasionally visit client site, near by.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates on an ongoing basis.
• Build relationships directly with clients to understand tax history and provide the most value for ongoing tax compliance needs.
