Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounting Technician actively collaborates on accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as invoicing.
Responsibilities
- Invoicing and accounts receivable: Prepare invoices in accordance with contracts, track payments and accounts receivable.
- Accounts payable: Verify supplier invoices, ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies, enter data into the accounting system, and make payments.
- Month‑end procedures: Government reports, bank reconciliations, account analysis, and assistance with the preparation of month‑end financial statements.
- Year‑end procedures: Assist in preparing files for auditors.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational training certificate in accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of NetSuite (asset).
